Setup Epson Printer on Restoplus POS - iPad Only (1).MP4

Troubleshooting

Step 1: Make sure the printer and the iPad are in the same network.

1. Get the IP Address of the printer.
   1. Ex: 192.168.1.126
2. Get the IP Address of the iPad.
   1. Ex: 192.168.1.123
3. Check if the iPad and the printer are in the same network.
   1. Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
   2. Printer’s Network Address: 192.168.1.126 ⇒ 192.168.1
   3. iPad’s Network Address: 192.168.1.123 ⇒ 192.168.1

Step 2: Make sure that the iPad can talk to the printer

1. Open Safari

   

2. Enter https://<ip-address-of-the-printer>

   1. Ex: https://192.168.1.126

   

3. You connection is not secure or private

   

4. Agree

   

   

   

   

5. You should see Epson Username + Password dialog.

   1. Username: epson
   2. Password: epson

   

   

6. Should be able to see the epson web config page
